I'm Naama (Nah-'ah-mah), a product designer at Meta since 2019. From Tel Aviv, based in Brooklyn.

I define and ship design strategy for high-stakes product surfaces at platform scale — privacy and sharing on Facebook (2B+ users), creation tools for emerging markets on Facebook Lite (100M+ users), the user-education system on Meta Quest, and the introduction of ads on WhatsApp.

My current focus is the WhatsApp ads-eligibility experience — the consent and Privacy Policy flow that makes Status Ads possible. It shipped in 32 markets, exceeded its Status DAU goal by 60% (~100M vs. a 60M goal), supports a projected $10B revenue line by 2030, and was cited positively in EU regulatory reviews. Alongside it, I work on EU-mandated consent flows (SNA), Channel Subscriptions, and a stream of WhatsApp Business surfaces — Lists, Quick Replies, and the inbox principles that organize them.

I specialize in the space between business growth, user trust, and regulatory constraint — turning ambiguous, cross-org problems into principled design outcomes that hold up under scrutiny. The cost of getting these surfaces wrong is measured in lost users, regulatory action, or eroded trust.

Before Meta, I worked as a Senior UX & UI Designer at Shutterfly and as a UX & UI Designer at Zeek. My background is in graphic design — branding, typography, and editorial work in Tel Aviv — with a B.A. in Visual Communications from the Holon Institute of Technology. I keep that practice alive through illustration and motion work outside of product.
